Safety measures while using stick filler rods with induction brazing

While using stick filler rods with induction brazing, are there any safety measures to be considered?

Yes, you want to be sure the rod does not touch the induction coil. You can encapsulate the coil, sleeve it with fiberglass, or you can have external protection devices so the rod never touches the coil. Also it’s a good practice to have gloves, insulating gloves are best. It’s also a good practice to be sure you aren’t feeding a very small rod to the joint so you’re not making contact with the hot metal part.
