What causes braze material to flow incorrectly or levitate?
The lower the frequency, the more levitation effects are evident.
The lower the frequency, the more levitation effects are evident. So high frequency set-ups usually will not levitate the parts very much, but low frequency ones will levitate metal parts like crazy. In the melting process it’s very evident where lower frequency machines are used to stir when melting. So lower frequency machines are used for stirring action, higher frequency are used for processes not having any levitation.
