Upcoming PRO Skills Webinars

Submitting Leads on the Portal
Channel partners can submit leads on the Partner Portal. John Beardsley of John Beardsley Associates has been leading the way and we thank John for his efforts. If you have any questions on how to submit leads, either contact your Sales Manager or reply to this email.
University and Research Centers
Universities, research centers, and national laboratories can can now take advantage of a special discount for Ambrell solutions. Induction heating is used by research centers and universities for an array of applications. Applications include materials research, nanoparticle research, hyperthermia, tensile testing and more. Connect with your Regional Sales Manager to discuss potential targets for this program.
Ambrell Trade-In Program
Have a client with an old system, whether it's ours or a competitive unit, that might need an extra incentive to upgrade to the latest technology? The equipment trade-in program can be the answer. So be sure to encourage customers with older systems to take advantage of this offer.
Heating a Steel Wire
A company needed to heat a 10 mm diameter steel wire to 400 °F (204 °C) in a continuous process. They contacted THE LAB at Ambrell to see if induction might be the right heating fit for their application. They required a rapid heating time and sent steel wire samples to THE LAB for viability testing.
Soldering a Copper Fuse Assembly
A customer contacted THE LAB at Ambrell because they needed to solder a copper fuse assembly. THE LAB determined that an Ambrell EKOHEAT 35 kW, 15-40 kHz induction heating power supply with a custom-designed multiple-turn helical and pancake coil would meet their objective.
Forging Steel Rods to Stamp Saw Blade Handles
A customer needed to heat steel rods for stamping saw blade handles. The process required rapid heating to forging temperature, consistent results for every cycle, and energy efficiency compared to conventional methods.
